Sony has officially announced their
latest smartphone at CES 2013 called Xperia
Z is the company’s first Full HD resolution smartphone with Gorilla Glass
protecting screen from scratches, dustproof and waterproof up to 30 minutes, worlds
first image sensor with HDR gives clear image in any conditions, Mobile BRAVIA
Engine 2 delivers immersive viewing experience with super brightness and
clarity, easy and fast One-touch functions to wirelessly share music, photos
and videos to NFC enables devices and STAMINA mode improves standby time up to
4 times.
The Sony Xperia Z has 5-inch touch screen display with 1920 x 1080
pixels resolution, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 1.5GHz Qualcomm
Snapdragon S4 quad core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage with microSD
card slot, 13-mega pixels rear camera with LED flash and 2.2-mega pixels front
facing camera.
The Sony Z has connectivity of 4G LTE, NFC, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, MHL, GPS,
microUSB port, 3.5mm audio jack, dimension 139 x 71 x 7.9 mm, weight 146 grams and 2330mAh battery provides up to 14
hours talk time.
The Sony Xperia Z will be available from March 2013 but now available
for preorder in UK at price of £522 around €645 or $845 from Clove in Black and White color
options.
