Razer has announced to start taking
preorder of their Windows tablet called Razer
Edge is the world’s first and more powerful tablet designed specially for
PC gamers, Gamepad Controller easy to grip with two hands, keyboard dock
transform into laptop mode with ports and additional battery, Docking Station
allows to use it as gaming console with pair of wired joysticks, 3rd generation
Intel Core processor delivers incredible performance and Optimus technology automatically
switch between integrated and discrete graphics.
The Razer Edge has 10.1-inch 10-point capacitive multi-touch display
screen with 1366 x 768 pixels resolution, 2-mega pixels front facing camera, thickness
0.8 inches, weight 2 pounds, stereo speakers with Dolby Home Theater, headphone
and microphone jack.
It has powered with 1.9GHz Intel
Core i7 dual core processor, Windows 8 operating system, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB
solid state drive, Intel HD 4000 integrated graphics, NVIDIA GeForce GT640M LE discrete
graphics with 2GB VRAM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and USB 3.0 port connectivity.
The Razer Edge will be available from February 2013 at starting price
between $999 and $1,299 depends on configuration, $250 for Gamepad Controller,
$200 for Keyboard Dock and $100 for Docking Station.
