Huawei has officially announced company’s
first Windows 8 smartphone at CES 2013 called Ascend W1 has unique power saving technology save 30% power
consumption and high capcity provides long lasting life, high quality IPS
screen with OGS Touch Panel reduce light consumption and screen more brighter
and vivid image under any light condition, Live Tile provides real time updates
and latest Microsoft Office and import contacts from Android phones using Bluetooth.
The Huawei Ascend W1 has 4-inch touch screen display with 480 x 800
pixels resolution, 5-mega pixels auto focus rear camera, 0.3-mega pixels front facing
camera, dimension 124.5 x 63.5 x 10.15 mm, weight 130 grams and 1950mAh battery
provides up to 10.5 hours talk time and 470 hours standby time.
The Huawei W1 has 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 dual core
processor with Adreno 305 graphics, Windows 8 operating system, 512MB RAM, 4GB
built-in storage with microSD card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB 2.0 port
and 3.5mm headphone jack.
The Huawei Ascend W1 will be available from January first in China and
Russia in Blue, Black, Red and White color options at price is $229.99 from Walmart and Straight Talk and in UK through O2 at price of £13.50 per monthly or £119.
