Acer has officially announced their
notebook called Aspire R7 comes with
four touch and type modes notebook, pad, display and ezel mode allows flipping,
reverse and flat with dual hinge technology easily switching between modes with
single hand.
The Ezel Mode pulls display close
to reach palm rest and keyboard to use touch screen and positioned up and out
in front of the keyboard or float over it, Notebook Mode sliding display back
of the keyboard, Display Mode flip screen over and positioned for watching
media contents like presentation, videos, games and photos and Pad Mode pull
down the screen and lay it on top of the keyboard.
Acer Aspire R7 has 15.6-inch Full HD capacitive multi-touch display
screen with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, Intel Core i5 processor, 6GB RAM, 500GB
hard drive and 24GB solid state drive and Windows 8 operating system.
Acer R7-6858 has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet LAN, VGA and HDMI ports,
3 USB ports, weight 5.5 pounds, 1.12 inches thickness and 4 stereo
speakers of 8W with Dolby Home Theater sound.
Acer Aspire R7-6858 will be available to buy from 17 May at starting
price of $999.99 and BestBuy start taking preorder in few days.
