Intel has announced two Android
based educational tablets designed specially for students to fulfil their needs
in 7-inch and 10-inch sizes with Intel processor, brilliant display provides
vivid and sharp easy to read text, dual cameras, drop resistant from drop of
60cm height and water resistance, capacitive stylus with 10-inch model while
optional in 7-inch model, Ambient light sensor automatically adjust display
brightness and Accelerometer sensor automatically rotating screen image.
It is preloaded with resources of Intel
Education software for students and teachers with classroom management tolls
help to keep students learning and developing skills and e-Reader software
allows to access online content.
Intel 7 Education Tablet has 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen
display with 1024 x 600 pixels resolution, 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor, Android
4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 8GB built-in storage with microSD card slot, dimension
200 x 122 x 9.95 mm, weight 355 grams and 4200mAh battery provides up to 7.8 hours
of battery life.
Intel 10 Education Tablet has 10-inch capacitive multi-touch screen
display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution, 1.6GHz Intel Atom Z2460 processor, Android
4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, 16GB built-in storage but lack of
microSD card slot, dimension 272 x 174 x 13.2 mm, weight 689 grams and 6600mAh
battery provides up to 6.5 hours of battery life.
These Intel Education Tablets also has 1GB RAM, 2-mega pixels rear camera,
0.3-mega pixels front facing camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, speakers and
microphone.
