HTC has finally announced their
upcoming smartphone in Taiwan called Butterfly
S is an updated version of previously unveiled Butterfly, slightly large
display and 40% bigger battery than HTC One, scratch resistant surface provides
durability with 440ppi pixel density crisp images in bright sunlight, BoomSound
dual front stereo speakers with built-in amplifier, HTC BlinkFeed directly
stream data feeds to home screen regarding breaking news, sports and social
networking feeds, HTC Zoe automatically takes series of 20 photos together and
Video Highlights automatically make 20-seconds mini movie clip.
HTC Butterfly S has 5-inch touch screen Super LCD 3 display with
1920 x 1080 pixels resolution, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system with
Sense 5 UI, 4-mega pixels UltraPixel BSI sensor rear camera, 2.1-mega pixels
front facing camera with 88-degree wide viewing angle lens, dimension 144.5 x
70.5 x 10.6 mm, weight 160 grams, 3200mAh battery provides up to 25 hours talk
time and 545 hours stand by time.
HTC S has powered with 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 quad core
processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB built-in storage with microSD card slot to expand
storage up to 64GB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and GPS connectivity.
HTC Butterfly S is available to buy in Taiwan from July at price of
NT$22,900 and $849 in US in Red, White, Black and Gray colors while in China
through China Telecom and later this summer in Europe.
