Sony officially announced their easy
to hold weatherproof durable camcorder Handycam
HDR-GW66VE that can operate underwater depth of 10 meters, dust resistant and
protect from accidental drop from up to 1.5 meter, operate up to -10oC,
record Full HD video and crisp still photos, record high quality AVCHD and MP4
browser friendly formats and Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode reduce blur
caused by camera shaky hands when zooming or walking.
Sony HDR-GW66VE has 1/3.91-inch back-illuminated CMOS Exmore R
sensor and 20.4-mega pixels still image, 10x optical zoom lens with 29.8-298mm
wide angle view, 3-inc Clear Photo swivel LCD screen and Full HD 1080p video
recording at 50fps.
Sony GW66VE Handycam has
microSD/SDHC/SDXC memory card slot for extra storage, dimension 108.5 x 32.5 x
70 mm, weight 188 grams and battery provides continuous 120 min recording.
Sony Handycam GW66VE will be available from June but price not
unveils yet.
