US Cellular has announced to start
selling their upcoming rugged smartphone Kyocera
Hydro XTRM has feature of waterproof up to 3.28 feet of water for 30
minutes, dust and drop resistant to be used in any harsh conditions, Smart
Sonic Receiver technology hear clearly in noisy environment, dual core
processor to fast access to apps and web browsing, back camera with video
camcorder and front camera for video calling and 4G LTE connectivity 10 times
faster than 3G.
Kyocera XTRM has 4-inch IPS multi-touch bright screen display, 5-mega
pixels rear camera with flash, 1.3-mega pixels front facing camera, dimension
4.88 x 2.52 x 0.42 inches, weight 4.9 ounces, 2000mAh battery provides up to
12.4 hours talk time and 12.5 days standby time.
Hydro XTRM has 1.2GHz dual core processor, 4GB built-in storage
that can expand up to 32GB through microSD card slot, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean
operating system, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
Kyocera Hydro XTRM will be available to buy from 24 May at original
price is $299.99 without contract and $29.99 with 2-year contract from US
Cellular.
